Scholarships
The scholarship application deadline was March 25, 2011. All scholarships have been awarded and we are unable to award any more scholarships or work trade positions.
A very small number of scholarships are available to cover the costs of registration for conference participants. Scholarships do not cover travel or pre-conference events.
Priority for scholarships will be given to policy makers within local governments, people of color, and people working on food policy issues in communities of color or low-income communities. Representation from all regions of the country will also be taken into consideration.
Work Trade
There are also a small number of volunteer positions available. In exchange for 12 hours of work during the conference, volunteers will be able to attend the conference for free. People who reside in the Portland Metro area will be given priority for volunteer positions.
